our mission
To contribute to improving living conditions and opportunities for women and children worldwide.
Project funding
Each year, Azickia supports social initiatives in France and abroad. Each project is selected with great care and addresses a specific social issue through a sustainable and long-term approach.
We prioritise human-scale initiatives centred on people, empowerment, and the improvement of quality of life.
azickia’s story
Azickia is a family foundation created in 2019 by Anaelle Azoulay and her two sisters.
At the crossroads between social entrepreneurship and international development, Azickia aims to contribute financially to impactful projects worldwide through a human-centred and holistic approach.
Since its creation, Azickia has launched several annual calls for projects focused on key areas including health, education, and gender equality.
Since 2025, Azickia has chosen to focus exclusively on initiatives supporting women and children in vulnerable situations. We also seek to build long-term partnerships by supporting selected projects over several years.
Since 2019, Azickia has supported 19 projects, representing more than €150,000 in donations.
Why Women and Children?
“On average, organisations defending women’s rights have experienced a 15% decrease in funding since early 2025 compared to 2024, representing a net loss of €6.7 million.” (Fondation des femmes, France).
This situation extends beyond France. According to the United Nations, one in three organisations working to end violence against women has had to suspend or cease operations due to funding constraints.
Yet, across the world, women and children remain the most exposed to violations of fundamental rights and freedoms. Azickia is committed to addressing this issue at its level.

ILA
ILA, Inspire-Learn-Act, is a socially conscious and constructive magazine, created and published by Azickia.
Since 2023, we have published over 50 articles online as well as in our first print edition, launched via Kisskissbankbank. In 2025, we decided to bring the ILA venture to an end to refocus on our project financing activities for social impact initiatives and our support for women and children.
All the articles published on ILA Magazine are still available here:
