Une voix pour elles

“Elles déménagent” : A new start for women who are victims of violence

Impact location : France
Donation Amount : 5000€
Project supported in 2025

Since 2021, Une Voix Pour Elles has developed a unique operational system called ‘ON BOUGE’ to carry out secure emergency relocations for women who are victims of domestic violence and their children.

In the absence of suitable logistical solutions for ensuring safety, this system provides rapid, humane and practical assistance, often in less than 24 hours.

The emergency relocations carried out by our association are operated exclusively through this system.

ON BOUGE includes:

  • Secure relocation from the home or emergency hotel
  • Temporary storage of belongings in our dedicated premises
  • Reorganisation in a new home
  • Distribution of personalised emergency kits: hygiene, food, childcare, clothing

Teams (employees and volunteers), trucks and storage spaces are fully mobilised for these critical interventions. Coordination is carried out in conjunction with social partners, law enforcement agencies and specialised organisations.

In order to broaden its impact and share practices on a national scale, Une Voix Pour Elles has launched the ‘Elles Déménagent’ network.

Objectives of the network:

  • Share a common vision and practical tools to support women in their journey to safety
  • Create a space for collaboration, exchange and training
  • Encourage the development of emergency relocation mechanisms in other regions

This network promotes better care for women victims of violence at the national level, drawing on experience in the field and the real needs of local areas.

The organisation carrying the project

Une Voix Pour Elles is a social impact association founded in 2019 in the Alpes-Maritimes region of France. It was born out of the realisation that fleeing a violent partner is often impossible without logistical support. There was no system in place to provide practical help to women needing to move out urgently. We therefore created this unique service, in conjunction with reception and support structures.

Our mission: To enable women and children who are victims of domestic violence to leave quickly and safely by providing them with material, human and logistical support.

Our actions include:

Emergency removals, Storage of personal belongings in a secure location, Distribution of emergency kits in emergency hotels or shelters, Reorganisation of their new living space
